![]() KnockOuts For Girls (KO4G) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that is comprised of female boxers, models and volunteers who raise money through multiple avenues, including female boxing events, to help underprivileged girls. We give away college scholarships, have a mentoring program, teach free boxing lessons to girls, have an advice column girls can submit letters to, offer health and exercise tips that promote a healthy lifestyle and positive self image, are in the process of offering a free boxing/self defense class for battered women and have a Make a Little GirlSmile program in which we grant wishes to underprivileged girls. Our KnockOuts believe that if everyone gives back a little, the world will be a better place. It’s that simple. We believe in charitable work and support all organizations that give back. For us, as boxers, we felt we could do something good and positive through a sport we love that has, for all of us, changed our lives. We believe in helping ALL people but because we happen to be female boxers and we can attest to the structure and discipline it has brought to our lives, along with new found confidence, self-esteem and a sense of empowerment, we wanted to share that with girls and other women. We encourage everyone who visits this website to examine their life and question their contributions to family, community and society. We then challenge you (if you haven’t already) to give back in some way and make a difference. It’s really that simple to make the world a better place. |
